CNC Service/ CNC Milling and CNC Turning
CNC is Computerized Numerical Control, now CNC service(CNC milling and CNC turning) is available at Makerfabs, for Makers and startups!
CNC machining has the following advantages:
1. A large reduction in the number of tooling, processing complex shapes of parts does not require complex tooling. If you want to change the shape and size of the part, you only need to modify the part processing program, which is suitable for new product development and modification.
2. The quality is stable, the precision is high, the repeating precision is high, and it is suitable for the processing requirements of the aircraft.
3. The production efficiency is high in multiple varieties and small batch production, which can reduce the time of production preparation, machine tool adjustment, and process inspection, and reduce the cutting time due to the use of the best cutting amount.
4. It can process complex products that are difficult to machine by conventional methods, and even can process unprocessable parts.
The disadvantage of CNC machining is that the machine tool is expensive and requires a high level of maintenance staff.

CNC Materials:
Currently, the factory can handle metal materials including: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Copper, Steel, Brass, Titanium, Sterling Silver, Bronze; and some hard plastics: Nylon, Acetal, Polycarbonate, Polystyrene, Acrylic, Fiberglass, Carbon fiber, PTFE, ABS, PVC, etc.
Accepted files:
AMF, CGR, EPRT, HCG, HSF, IFC, IGS, IGES, PRT, PRTDOT, SAT, SLDLFP, SLDPRT, STP, STEP, VDA, WRL, XAML, X_B, X_T, 3DXML and 3D DWG file types for quotation.
EMS CAD files:
Designs created in or exported from eMachineShop CAD are not accepted here – please use the CAD instant price command.
How to Make the CNC Order from Makerfabs:
It would be totally free if customer wants to contact the factory directly, just email us at service@makerfabs.com and we can send you our factory list and contact; If the customer wants Makerfabs' help on the communication/ payment/ shipping, send you your production files, include Material/ Quantity/ Surface Treatment, we will forward to the factory for quoting and help on the communication in the whole production. Makerfabs will charge a 10% service fee as our profits.
1. Customer files/ drawing/ or sample send to Makerfabs → If files/ drawings not ok, need to revise and resend.
2. If files/ Drawing ok, Makerfabs will quote you within 2 working days.
3. Customers Payment. Paypal or TT, etc.
4. CNC on production, CNC milling/ CNC turning. (Normally, after the first sample passed by the customer, we will process to production)
5. Production finished, packing and shipping.
6. Customer feedback.
